Like every woman, I’m a blend of the complex and the simple. I earn my living as an advertising copywriter but I have two degrees in fine art. Every time I meet someone new, I try to discover something about him or her worth celebrating. I enjoy being kind. I'm generous, truthful & loyal to a fault. I'm too cynical for my own good and just as optimistic. I have a dog named Boo. I don't have a favorite color. I'm allergic to bee stings, chain restaurants, name tags, and taking oneself too seriously. My list of favorite things includes: good books; a strong cup of coffee with sugar and real cream; kisses on the back of my neck; hand-lettered signs; walking – no matter what the weather; surprising the ones I love, and hearing the stories of peoples' lives. I love the rush that follows an intense workout, a fierce bout of laughter or a soft kiss. Truth is always better than fiction. Life really is how you choose to see it. The best advice anyone ever gave me was, "Live a beautiful life, and let beautiful things come to you." I am looking for a man who is adventurous & more than a little ambitious. A gentleman who is honest, intelligent, curious and respectful, of others and himself. A participant, not a spectator. One who is strong enough to be kind, understanding enough to give me space and secure enough to be a little silly. Motorcycles are great; eyeglasses, even better. Hippies need not apply. Ardent fans of Renaissance festivals, that goes double for you.
